Our name.

Artos is the Greek word for “bread” used in the telling of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Figuratively, artos is God’s miraculous provision for those who hunger and choose to live in God’s will.

We at Artos Retreats feel called to this ministry out of the abundance of our own blessed experiences of God’s miraculous provision in our lives.

“They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.” Matthew 14:20

Our calling.

In formal terms…

We provide programs, coaching, and other services to improve the well-being of clergy spouses and other spiritually undernourished church members who contribute directly and indirectly to the strength and health of Christian congregations.

In practical terms…

We help participants answer these questions:

• How can I grow closer to God?
• How do I fulfill confidently the chosen day-to-day activities of my church-related role?
• How can I claim and use my gifts for God’s glory, grace, and purpose?
• How can I keep laughing and singing?
